Help Give Lawrence Walker the Funeral He Deserves

This gofund me is for my dearly beloved brother Lawrence Walker. My brother was senselessly murdered December 19th 2024. Murdered by a friend’s younger brother. Murdered by someone whom he helped out in the past when that person had gotten kicked out from his home.

He hasn’t been convicted yet so I don’t know if legally I can say his name, I’ll find out and revise if I can.

My brother was murdered as he was leaving to get on the bus to another location at the job where he worked, where his murderer also worked. shot six times after a verbal exchange as he was literally putting his stuff in the car to leave, and was also completely unarmed. He was gunned down in a dirty parking lot by an armed criminal, a murderer. A horrible disgusting excuse for a human being. The funeral is rapidly approaching currently set for the 11th.

I loved my brother very dearly. We are from a very tight-nit family. We grew up like sardines 5 of us with my mom. He was amazing, a truly loving caring older brother who would help me when I needed it, listen to me when I needed to be heard and give me advice when I wasn’t sure what to do. He was a very goofy person and great to be around. He was very caring, he cared about the people he loved. My brother will be severely missed, the lack of his presence is felt very strongly.

I’m making this go fund me to hopefully cover his funeral expenses. Like a lot of families right now we don’t have thousands of dollars to spare on such quick notice and even in this devastating situation that just makes everything worse. My Mom has had health troubles recently, having to get her appendix taken out. And in the process caused they ended up cutting it on accident and the toxins leaked and my mom ended up with an abscess that just got drained yesterday. My sister Laurene told me they are going to cremate his body and upon hearing that my stomach turned. I want my brother to have a proper beautiful funeral, one that he deserves. He was alone on his own at work when he was killed 

please help me do something nice for my brother I loved him with my entire heart he means the world to me I think he deserves a beautiful tombstone we can visit and leave flowers and gifts for him.

please help me. The funeral is approaching very quickly and I know it’s a lot of money and everyone is on hard times but if you can find it in your heart to spare a few dollars I would be beyond grateful.
