Beloved Family and Friends,

On May 19th, 2024, our hearts were shattered as we bid farewell to a cherished soul, Lorena Nunez, who at 37 years old, gracefully became an angel. To those who were privileged to know her, Lorena was the epitome of kindness, grace, and spirit. She adorned the roles of a devoted Godmother, wife, sister, and daughter with unwavering love and warmth.

Lorena's journey was marked by resilience and courage, as she bravely faced health challenges from a young age. At only 16 years old, she underwent a life-saving liver transplant, which gifted her 21 precious years among us. Yet, her battle was far from over. Complications persisted, leading to numerous emergency room visits, each a testament to her strength and endurance.

The onset of COVID-19 further complicated her health issues. Upon contracting the virus in December 2020, her kidneys failed and she effectively began dialysis treatment. Her health slowly declined upon this point as the complications became more critical. Despite her valiant fight against liver failure, diabetes, and relentless fatigue, her life came to a premature end, allowing her weary spirit the peace it deserves to rest.

As her immediate family, we are absolutely devasted by Lorena’s passing. Unfortunately for us, she left us without any form of life insurance to cover the cost of any funeral service. Our family currently find ourselves struggling to financially support the costs for her funeral service as quickly as we need to.

As such, in this time of grief and despair, we would like to humbly ask for your support in being able to provide Lorena a small, but intimate funeral service. Your generosity in contributing to Lorena's funeral service would mean the world to us and ensure that she receives the respectful send-off she deserves.
