Help Give Louiana Salazar the Memorial She Deserves
Donation protected
My name is Joshua Salazar and I am kindly asking for donations to help give my sister, Louiana Salazar, the memorial she deserves. She passed away on August 8, 2024, at the young age of 31. At a very young age, my sister already had a lot of responsibilities. She was going to school and was taking care of me, my grandma, and my mother who is handicapped. Throughout her life, she has made many sacrifices. She has put off her education, her ambitions, and unfortunately some of her happiness, in order to properly take care of our sick grandma and mother, and especially help me by allowing me to focus more on school so I could go to college.
I have recently graduated because of her and her selflessness and I was ready to take my turn and take care of my family and give her the freedom to pursue her ambitions and happiness again. However, the universe had other plans. In December of 2023, my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Carcinoma (kidney cancer). The cancer was so aggressive that it quickly spread throughout her body and she was only expected to live for 2-3 more months. I am truly grateful that God has given us more time with her.
Within those eight months that I have taken care of her, I saw many emotions from my sister. When she was around my mom and other family members, she was strong and very optimistic. Even when she was suffering and in pain, she tried her best not to show it to us. But behind closed doors, I saw anger, depression, and regret and there was nothing I could do about it. My sister never got the chance to live and pursue the life she wanted. She lived her whole life taking care of me and my family.
So the only thing I can do now for her is to give her the best funeral service I can provide. Therefore, I am asking kindly for help and donations so I can at least give her the proper and beautiful funeral service she deserves.
