Help Give Louie Fabian a Dignified Farewell
Donation protected
Tonight, we lost a strong one, a fighter, my Grandpa Louie Fabian. He had a friend everywhere he went in Canal Fulton, “ol Louie.” My grandpa was a proud Korean War Veteran. This is where he met my beautiful Grandma Yoshiko. They didn’t speak the same language but fell in love against all odds—somehow my grandpa learned all the curse words in Japanese though, lol. They had three lovely children: Linda, Betty, and Jimmy.
My grandpa spent the majority of his life in a small farmhouse in Canal Fulton on Leaver Rd. He loved it there. I remember grandma fussing at him because he would always be at the auctions bringing home another animal—his passion. I used to enjoy, as a young girl, walking the freshly tilled cornfields looking for arrowheads—he had a nice collection.
Unfortunately, just over the last couple of months, his health started to decline after a nasty fall and a bout with COVID. Most recently, I discovered he had no life insurance or means for a proper burial. This makes me very sad, especially because he served our country and was a veteran. I would like him to be buried with honor and dignity. All money donated will go towards proper burial expenses. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️!
