Help Give Marine Veteran Teri Parker a Proper Burial
Donation protected
Hi, my name is LeeAnne, and my husband of fourteen years just recently passed away. His name was Teri Parker. He was a Marine in the service in his younger years. Being a veteran, he was under the assumption that all of his final burial costs would be covered by the Veterans Association, but unfortunately, I have recently learned that this is not the case, and we were already on difficult financial times.
He was a traditional man who took care of me, so I am unprepared for the financial costs that his burial will require. I want to honor my husband and his service for his country, and all of his friends didn't have to ask for help if they needed it because he was the first one and usually the only one that would give the shirt off his back if his loved ones needed help. He was an incredible man and never hesitated to help no matter what the cost to himself. He is the last of a dying breed and would say, "It costs me more to be who I am, but the cost is always worth it to know my friends would be taken care of. He had to pay to be himself."
He loved me unconditionally and was always there for me. It would mean the world to me to give him what he deserves by giving him the respectful, proper, and loving burial for his final resting place. I am not financially able to give him what he so deserves, so any help from others to honor the man, friend, and husband he was will be so appreciated, and I wish I could do it by myself, but I need help. So please help with anything you can give. Thank you, LeeAnne.
