It is with great sadness to share that Mel suddenly died Sunday, Sept. 29 after a fall. Mel was an incredible soul with unwavering support for so many, working his life for superstar lawyers, even RBG. Mel took great care of his wife Miriam for 32 years.

In this time of need, let’s give to support Mel’s funeral and Jewish burial, and help with Miriam’s lodging as she is shattered. We, the people, can share our thankfulness here for Mel’s incredible soul, great jokes, and big heart, always there to help all of us. Our goal is $20,000 to ensure Mel gets the beautiful send-off he deserves, while helping Miriam during this painful time with all the bits and aftermath for her lodging and care.

Mel’s birthday was coming up Monday, Oct. 7. He wanted me to take him to Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth, to Space Mountain. Instead, I’m writing this and hope we can all rally and give with the tireless generosity Mel had to get us to our goals, standing strong for others and sharing his smile!
