Help Give Mitch Austin His Sight Back

Hi, I'm Mitch's long-time friend Cullen and I am fundraising to get Mitch the surgery he needs to restore his eyesight from a severe and debilitating cataract. Not having any insurance or government assistance, Mitch needs $3,500 to get this surgery.

Most everyone in Taos knows Mitch like I do. He is a guitar player and was the face of the 'Casa de Musica' music store and played in his many bands, then the recording engineer and keeper of the 'Underground Recording & Dance Studio'. And after that of course, Mitch is the guy who got shot 7 times at Allsup's many years ago and lived to talk about it. Taos helped him then, and I'm hoping we can help him again.

So I am here asking that we help give Mitch his sight back. I know Mitch feels weird about taking charity, he asked, "How could I ever repay those people who help me?" I told him that those who give to you would certainly say that helping you is all the reward they need. I know he understands because he is always helping others and does so as second nature, and never expects anything in return.
