Help Give Samuel a Fighting Chance!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Carrin Fultz and I’m fundraising for my unborn son Samuel to help give him a fighting chance at life! For those of you who don’t know me or our situation, at 20 weeks we got news that our son had no functioning kidneys. On top of that, they can not see a bladder and are worried about lung development since I don’t have any measurable fluid. After weeks of our son performing miracles, we decided to get a third opinion. Those miracles included flipping from a breeched position with no fluid, continuing to grow, and surviving until 34 weeks gestation at this point. The high risk doctors said his only chance of survival is being born at Vanderbilt to start the dialysis process after birth. We live 4+ hours away, and have been asked to stay in Nashville for roughly a month for observation until I get induced the minute our son stops growing. After he’s born if he has a fighting chance and his lungs are properly functioning we will be staying extendedly in Nashville while he receives dialysis and ventilator care until he is big enough for a kidney transplant. We are in need of traveling and living expenses while we are in Nashville and anything helps! If you can’t afford to donate we appreciate any shares we get. Thank you for any donations and prayers you can give our family!
