Help Give Shleen the Send off She Deserves
Donation protected
Hello family and friends. I'm reaching out to ask for help giving my sister, Shleen Leftwich, the send of she deserves. She became ill and was hospitalized on 1/12/23. We found out Shleen was in accute end-stage liver failure, which was effecting her kidneys. On 1/30/23, Shleen was transferred to UC San Diego Medical Center in hopes of a liver transplant, but was denied. On 2/03/23, Shleen was transferred to UCLA Medical Center where she was accepted by their transplant team, who got to see all of Shleen's spirit, spunk, and desire to live a full life. UCLA accepted Shleen for a liver transplant, but her health had already started to decline. Everything possible was fine to get Shleen stable enough to undergo surgery, and get her on the transplant list for a new liver, but her body was in a downward spiral of cascading organ failures, all leading back to the failed liver. Shleen's Medical complications became to much for all of the medical interventions to keep up with, and her body, only 42 years old, succumbed to the build up of toxins caused by the organ failure and she passed peacefully on 2/09/23 at 7:09pm, surrounded and loved by family and friends. I am asking you to please donate to help give our sister, Shleen, a send off as beautiful as she was. The services will be shared once they are arranged. Shleen left behind me, her the nephews who adored her and are devastated, as well as many friends and extended family members. If you have questions, reach out to me. Thank you and I appreciate your consideration. If you're unable to donate, and any amount will help, please share this gofundme page.
