Help Gladys Bring Anna Home for Hospice Care

PLEASE HELP. Update 10/19. From Gladys: Anna is currently still in the hospital recovering from her bowel obstruction surgery, but we are planning to get her discharged home by next week. My family is deeply touched by the kindness and generosity of everyone ❤️ we are very grateful for the gifts and prayers offered for Anna. Thank you very much to everyone. We have received food from others, and it's all greatly appreciated. God bless everyone abundantly. The money will be used for medical supplies, transportation, bills and a ramp for wheelchair accessibility.) Anna, 24 yr old daughter of dear nurse Gladys, is terminally ill. Anna recently graduated from NIU. In January she was diagnosed with cancer. Tragically the cancer has metastasized and is in her bones. Anna's cancer is very aggressive and cannot be treated. The palliative care team has recommended hospice. She is currently in hospital. Gladys wishes to bring Anna home and spend the precious remaining time with her and her family. She does not qualify for FMLA and working right now is understandably difficult. Anything is appreciated.
