Help Gloria and Her Children Through This Tragic Time

Hello all, my name is Daisy and I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my beloved brother-in-law, Leonardo Martinez. Leo lost his life on Nov 20th due to gun violence. He was driving with his baby, 6-month-old Nathanial, at the time when a car pulled up beside him and opened fire.

Leo leaves behind 2 boys (Leo Jr. & Nathanial), his daughter (Makayla), as well as his fiancée, my sister Gloria. Anybody that knew Leo knew how much he loved his family and was always with his fiancée and kids. His biggest fear was to leave them behind, and sadly, his fear has become reality. Leo was a family man to the fullest. There was nothing you couldn’t count on him for. He had a great personality, his smile was contagious, but overall, nothing compares to the love he had for his family. He was also a great Son, Brother, Uncle and brother-in-law anyone could ever ask for. Leo was a one-in-a-million man! And his memories will live on with everyone that knew him.

I remember always playing pranks on him, and never did he get mad about that; it just wasn’t him. He always treated everyone with respect. He was also a great stepfather to my sister’s 2 older kids, Manny and Stephanie, and I know they will miss him dearly. Leo was always a phone call away for them too.

So I want to take the time to ask for your help in making a small donation to help my sister out with the day-to-day expenses as she will not be returning to work anytime soon. When you grieve a loved one, it’s hard to go back to your day-to-day life, especially when there are young kids involved.
