Help Glorivette's Family After Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Hi friends, old and new, my name is Glorivette Somoza, and I am coming to you today for help as my aunt May and cousin Toni are now houseless due to the Eaton fires. It is always hard for us to ask for help, as we pride ourselves on resilience and self-sufficiency. Still, we come to the community globally, asking for support after these catastrophic and life-changing fires. My family escaped with the clothes on their backs, cat Papas, and nothing else. These events are so tragic that my family is beside themselves. They lived in this house for 30 years, and it has been reduced to rubble. They worked 2 to 3 jobs to ensure they never lost this house to a bank, but now they lost it to a fire.

We understand how fortunate we are to have them alive, unscathed, and with us. This is the most important. However, what do you do when everything your parents and you have worked for is reduced to ash?

We hope you share this post, donate what you can, and offer your prayers for them. We understand the entire community is hurting deeply from the incalculable losses they endured in Altadena and Pasadena. We will become stronger as a community.

Thank you for reading. We appreciate you all.

LOVE!
