Help Good Looks Get Back on the Road
Donation protected
The Good Looks boys can't catch a break. This is similar but different than the time Jake Ames, the lead guitarist in Good Looks, was hit by a car in April 2022.
This time the whole band (Jason Tyler Jordan, Jake Ames, Harrison Anderson, and Phil Dunne) was involved.
On Saturday, July 8, on the way to the first show of their three-week summer tour, they were involved in a serious accident. They were hit from behind by a car traveling at an extremely fast speed, which sent their van into the back of an 18-wheeler and then off the road. Almost immediately their van caught fire and went up in flames. They lost everything: all of their instruments, amps, three weeks of merch, and personal belongings like laptops and all of their favorite tshirts. They got out of the van in time with only one cellphone between the four of them.
The van is insured and they're filing claims for everything else in the hope that it will be covered by insurance. It might be a couple months before any of that is resolved.
In the meantime, the band is replacing cellphones, personal belongings, and gear out of pocket. If you're able to help or support them in any way right now I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
They canceled the first four shows of this tour, and Tyler Jordan is en route to Cincinnati to play some of these shows solo while the band heals up and sorts the logistics of a van rental and gear so they can meet up with him on the East Coast and finish the tour.
I don't think it's possible for a band to be cursed, but they've definitely had their share of bad luck lately. Thanks for any help you're able to offer.
