Help Gordon Grow - fund a poetic children's book

Hi I'm Serena. I am a poet and storyteller. I have been writing poetry for over 3 decades.

When my youngest child was 3 years old, I wrote a rhyming children's story called Growing Gordon inspired by the dynamics in my own family.

The story was inspired, too, by a gap in the market for more diverse storybook characters.

Sadly, that was ten years ago now and Gordon has just been collecting dust in the cloud ever since.

Due to personal difficulties, health issues, changing careers, and a global pandemic poor little Gordon has not yet had his day. And believe me he deserves to!!

I am finally at a point where I am able to put in the work to get his story heard, but I need your help!

Publishing a children's book is daunting, complex, and expensive, but I know if I can just cover the costs of my amazing illustrator (£3000+), and any initial publishing costs (£500), Gordon will become a new household favourite at bedtimes everywhere!

Please help me to help little Gordon grow.
