Help Grace with her Medical Bills
This has been a challenging year and a half for all of us, and the hits keep coming for Grace and Jacob.
Last week, Grace went in for some dental work that ended up causing a series of severe complications due to her autoimmune disease. She ended up developing a very fast acting infection which resulted in an abscess in her neck at the base of her skull. The infection traveled quickly throughout her body, leaving
her bed ridden and in extreme pain.
The good news is, after a series of tests, the amazing doctors at OHSU have developed a treatment plan. Unfortunately, this requires a long-term medication that is very expensive, even after insurance. This, combined with a long hospital stay, numerous CT scans, expensive labs, and almost two weeks of missed work, are causing a great amount of financial stress for Grace and Jacob. She has a long road of recovery ahead, but we are hopeful that she will make a solid recovery.
Any help you can provide for Grace, Jacob, and 9-month-old Griffin is a huge blessing, and they are already beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have already received. Thank you!
