I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to you today with an urgent and heartfelt request on behalf of my daughter, Gracie Mae. Gracie Mae is a remarkable little girl, who despite the challenges life has thrown her way, has always displayed unwavering strength, determination, and an infectious smile.

Gracie Mae was adopted by me (Melissa) at birth from a birth mother who struggled with drug addiction. As a result, she was born with cerebral palsy, and due to complications, she is also blind. While these conditions have presented numerous hurdles in her life, they have never dampened her spirit, nor diminished the love and joy she brings to our family.

Recently, we received some incredible news that has filled our hearts with hope. Gracie Mae has been offered a life-changing opportunity to undergo a leg procedure that has the potential to enable her to walk independently. After years of extensive research and consultations, we believe this procedure could be the key to unlocking a whole new world of possibilities for her.

However, in the face of this newfound hope, we have encountered a financial barrier. Unfortunately, our insurance provider has informed us that they will only cover part of the cost of the procedure, leaving us with a significant financial burden to shoulder. The cost of the surgery, including medical care, therapy, and associated expenses.

This is where we humbly appeal for your support and generosity.
