Help Grandjean’s Sawtooth Lodge
Donation protected
Debbie & Mary Grandjean are Emile Grandjean’s granddaughters. We have been vacationing at Sawtooth Lodge since we were small children. It is our homeland & we can feel our grandparents’ presence there. Three generations of Grandjeans were at Sawtooth Lodge in July.
On July 24, tragedy struck. Lightening started a fire that is still burning. The lodge & cabins are in danger but still standing. Six nearby summer homes have burned to the ground.
Jesse Buhler is the manager & he is our hero as are the firefighters. The marvelous staff has been let go (darling college students) as Grandjean Road & the lodge have been closed for several weeks. This has been a huge financial drain on the lodge & Jesse’s crew. (Debbie & I are not the owners of the lodge, just patrons.)
If you’ve been to Grandjean, you know what is at stake. It’s paradise & the people are what make it magical. If you haven’t been there, we hope to see you next year. Yes, there will be a summer season in 2025!
Please donate what you can. Our family, Jesse & his staff will be grateful for your kindness.
