Help Grandmother SaSa recover from COVID
Donation protected
My name is Elaine Grohman, and I am creating a fundraiser on behalf of Grandmother SaSa, (Joyce Bryant) to help assist in her recovery from COVID. Grandmother SaSa has been hospitalized for the past three months, beginning October 22, 2021, and will be discharged from a rehabilitation facility to her home in West Ossipee, New Hampshire, this Friday, January 21, 2022.
Having been in a coma and on a ventilator for two weeks and nearly losing her fight on three separate occasions, Grandmother SaSa has worked diligently to regain her health after having three strains of COVID simultaneously. One of her doctors remarked, "You are one strong woman." Grandmother SaSa, along with her family, is incredibly grateful for all the life-saving medical care she has received and knows she could not have survived without the dedicated medical expertise. However, she also knows there is a long way to go once she returns home.
Grandmother SaSa (White Swan of the North), a lifelong lover of the earth and its people whose heritage is Abenaki, Irish, Scottish, and Japanese has devoted much of her life to Prayer, Ceremony and serving humanity. In our conversation just today, Grandmother SaSa shared that she has much work yet to do and extends her sincerest gratitude to those who might consider helping ease this financial burden.
