That’s why we—grandmothers, grandfathers, and concerned individuals from across the country—are stepping up for gun reforms that assure safety for our grandchildren and future generations. To promote safety for all communities.

We are Grandmothers for Gun Responsibility—a newly launched national organization harnessing the strength, wisdom, and love of grandmothers to end gun violence. We know social change, and we are dedicated to preventing gun violence.

We are already the leading national organization unifying the voices of our older generation in the gun violence prevention movement. Grandmothers are powerful, trusted messengers, and we're stepping up to demand a safer future for our grandchildren and generations to come. We are committed to being a shield for children—standing between them and the epidemic of gun violence that threatens their lives and futures.

The Grandmothers for Gun Responsibility officially launched on March 17, 2025, and we’re asking for your help to raise $25,000 in seed funding, so we can take our next urgent step: launching a national safe firearm storage campaign to support life-saving policies. We will bring The Grandmothers and responsible gun ownership into the national spotlight and support gun safety bills across the country.
