Help Granger Beat Cancer: Join His Fight
Donation protected
Granger is a sweet, loving, and sensitive pup who just celebrated his 10th birthday in November alongside his ‘twin’ sister, Gracie. In July, Granger was diagnosed with anal gland cancer, which had spread to his lymph nodes and spleen. Despite this devastating news, Granger has fought bravely, undergoing surgery to remove the primary tumor and two affected lymph nodes, followed by 20 rounds of radiation and intravenous chemotherapy.
Now, Granger faces another challenge: a splenectomy to remove the cancer isolated in his spleen. The surgery, estimated at $8,350, will be followed by oral chemotherapy to continue his fight. His prognosis is promising following the splenectomy and oral chemotherapy, as scans reveal no signs of cancer elsewhere in his body.
Granger has been a part of his mommy’s life since he was just 4 days old, initially as a foster, but their bond was too strong to let him go. He’s full of life, sharing snuggles, kisses, and his mischievous habit of raiding the trash. He’s also incredibly intelligent and intuitive—when his furry siblings have been unwell, Granger has always alerted his human family that something was wrong. And when his ‘God-Mother’ experienced the heartbreaking loss of her nephew, Granger immediately jumped onto the couch, kissed her, and curled up in her lap to comfort her.
Granger’s family has already spent over $40,000 on his treatment, including surgeries, CT scans, medications, bloodwork, radiation, and chemotherapy. They are doing everything they can to give him the best chance at life, but they need your help to continue his care.
If you’re able, please consider supporting Granger as he takes the next steps in his battle against cancer. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference for this incredible pup and his loving family. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
