Help Greta Fight Her Battle Against IMHA
Donation protected
Very few times in life do we meet an exceptional dog like Greta. At the fragile age of only two years old, Greta has been diagnosed with IMHA which is an autoimmune disease that causes a dog's immune system to attack its own red blood cells, resulting in anemia. Due to her current diagnosis, she has now progressed into what is called ITP which is a rare autoimmune disorder that causes her to have low platelet levels. With a lack of oxygen being carried out through her bloodstream, Greta has become disoriented, lethargic with a loss of appetite and needs our help.
Greta's owner is an exceptional human being who is disabled due to an unfortunate motorcycle accident and is restricted by his small stipend from the government. Out of the kindness of his heart, Rich, adopted Greta from Turtle Mountain animal rescue and in doing so, saved both of their lives.
Greta is a friend to all she meets. Her hugs can turn anyone's day around and melt any heart in dire need of healing. It is not her time to go. With your donation, we will begin the process of getting her blood transfusions to give her an 80% chance to heal and live a long, healthy life. After all, her work here and time spent on this earth isn't done. She has more lives to save.
