Help Grey Street Photography get a home
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I wanted to start by saying thank you for even being here. My name is Danielle, and I own Grey Street Photography.
A quick little back story for those who don’t know me:
In 2010 I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. After a tough four years of college, I lost my love for photography. It wasn’t until my 30th birthday when I bought myself a new camera and took myself to Yosemite National Park (to be like my idol Ansel Adams), that I rediscovered my love for it. My camera has been an extension of my heart ever since.
In December, I quit my full-time job to try and pursue my dream of doing photography full time. I had been doing it part-time for a few years while working different customer service jobs, and if the last few years have taught me anything, it’s that life is short, and I owe it to myself to give it a go.
I have been given a fantastic opportunity to share a studio space with a friend who needs more storage space for his IT/tech business. Given the opportunity to have my own studio space to call home, I would be able to expand my business in ways I can’t currently offer.
Not only would I use it for my portrait photography, but it would also become a space for my styled product photography. Those of you who follow me on Instagram have seen a slow takeover of my living room and bedroom with all of my product photography gear. :)
To take advantage of this opportunity and make the dream of having a studio come true, I ask your help as I try to raise money for the start-up costs.
What your donation would go towards:
- First and last month's rent
- Sandpapering/painting the walls
- Cleaning/staining the floors
- Furnishing the studio (bed, loveseat/couch, pillows, sheets/comforters, newborn accessories, backdrops, mirror, backdrops, soft box lighting, and other small decor items)
It’s hard to put into writing what your donation would mean to me. As hard as it is to ask for help, opportunities like the one I currently have do not come across often. Raising this money has the potential to truly change my life.
Thank you so so so much again for your time and consideration.
