Help grieving Alioto family in need

Dear community,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of Anna and Mike Alioto, two resilient siblings, faced with the challenges of neurofibromatosis since birth. Their journey has been marked by multiple surgeries, and their family has been profoundly affected by health-related struggles; from the loss of their father to cancer at the age of 45 to their mother’s battle with multiple sclerosis and her unexpected death on January 2nd.

The Alioto siblings are now faced with the urgent need to address financial burdens. Their home, entangled by a reverse mortgage, and the pressure of mounting bills is compounded by the urgency to find a new home.

Anna has proudly worked over 20 years at Jewel, currently part of the night crew. Mike, due to the impact of NF, is unable to work, adding to the siblings’ financial difficulties.

In this difficult time, we, Maureen’s siblings, extend our hands to you, to come together to assist in covering medical bills, funeral expenses, and the necessary steps to secure a new place to call home. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on their journey towards stability and healing. A trust has been established in their name to pay for their expenses.
