Help Grieving Mother Facing Eviction of Home

In the middle of summer 2023 tragedy struck when 9 year old Jocelynn and her father JP Maldonado were unexpectedly taken too soon changing Molly Powell's life forever. Jocelynn was Molly's everything, a void that can never be replaced. Being a single mother is in my opinion one of the hardest things to do, but I couldn't imagine the depth of despair it must be to have motherhood taken away within seconds.

Even with the unimaginable struggles this last year has brought her, Molly has tried to stay afloat. She works several jobs and has little to no support from outside resources.

It broke my heart today speaking with Molly and hearing that she's facing eviction tomorrow if she can't pay in full. A Sheriff will be coming at noon to lock her property which includes 3 loved family dogs and her daughter's beautifully put together bedroom that is still in the same condition as the last day she saw her. I couldn't even begin to process wrapping my mind around losing a child, but then to face losing the home I shared with them so soon after. This home is the last thing she has to hold onto right now and she's going to be locked out.

I've known Molly most of my life but here recently have gotten very close with her. She's one of the few authentic and genuine individuals out that, and I cherish the relationship we share. I'm creating this go fund me in hopes that as a community we can help her in a time of need so that she doesn't have to lose her three dogs and home with her daughter's room. She is needing $2,550. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately with today being President's day I was unable to get in contact with some of the charities around town, but will continue to make attempts there as well.
