Help Groomers Buy Equipment After Theft

I started Groomers Property Services in 2017 as a goal to build a business for my family and community. We started off with one push mower and slowly built our business, one lawn at a time. We offer landscaping services like lawn maintenance and we also offer commercial cleaning.

By January of 2020, we were starting to build more momentum due to the acquiring of more contracts from the previous year. I felt really good about being able to expand my business to buy a second truck and more equipment. But when the pandemic shut-down businesses, I lost those contracts because they were commercial cleaning for restaurants. This was a huge blow but I kept on working to build my business. It’s been slow going but I was working towards my goal of owning more equipment, one piece at a time.

Then, devastatingly, my storage unit (along with 30 other units) was broken into and I had a lot of equipment stolen. My business insurance didn’t cover the full cost of the theft.

So, I’m starting over again.

Every single bit makes a difference as I work to build this business to employ more people, provide beautiful landscaping, and keep commercial businesses sparkling.

My goal is to raise $20,000. This would allow me to replace my stolen equipment and have repairs done to a used second truck.
