Hello my Relatives. Today I am reaching out to you on behalf of Guy Jones, our Elder, who has touched the lives of many. Guy is facing a challenging life event with lung cancer. Known for his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support, he has been a mentor and friend to many in his life.

Guy Jones has created space to listen, cultivate connections that heal our relationships that lead to pathways to create a better future. He has taught me invaluable lessons about our culture, spirituality, and the power of community. His stories and teachings have an impact on all who create relationships and connections with those that learn from him.

For decades, Guy Jones has been a guiding light in Ohio, tirelessly working to bridge gaps between Indigenous communities’, agencies and governments. His wisdom has paved the way for countless initiatives, fostering understanding and respect for Indigenous rights and heritage. Guy has shared his wisdom and understanding with thousands of Ohioans.

Diagnosed in March 2024, Guy's life is dramatically shifting. Known for his vibrant spirit and unyielding dedication, he now navigates a path filled with doctor visits, specialist consultations, and the start of chemotherapy treatments. The financial toll of these treatments, copays, and necessary travel for care are immense.

The cost of cancer treatment is steep so we are rallying together to ensure that he receives the best care possible without the burden of financial stress. It is our turn to give back and support a man who has generously given so much of himself to nurture the growth and healing of others.

We are aiming to raise $100,000 to cover the costs of his medical expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards his medical bills and ensure that Guy can focus on his health and healing without financial worry.
