Hello, my name is Hadeel AL-Maqadma. My family and I are reaching out during incredibly challenging times from Gaza, where we've been enduring the hardships of war for the past six months. This conflict has left us without a home, displaced multiple times, and currently sharing a cramped space with three other families. Despite these circumstances, we are committed to rebuilding our lives and pursuing a brighter future.

Our Plight:

The escalation of aggression in Gaza has severely compromised the safety and dignity of its residents, particularly affecting women. This dire situation underscores the urgency for my family, especially for the safety of my sister (Amal) and our collective future, to find refuge. Our livelihood has been stripped away, halting my sister's university education and losing our most valuable tools for work and study - our laptops.

Our Dreams:

Despite the adversity, we haven't lost hope. I aspire to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, aiming to contribute positively to society and support my family. Amal dreams of continuing her Architectural Engineering studies, driven by her passion for design and innovation.

Your contributions will enable us to recover essential items like laptops and facilitate our safe departure from Gaza to pursue our educational aspirations. The financial challenge of leaving Gaza is significant, with each family member requiring $5000 to $6000 for safe passage, plus an additional $1500+ for initial settlement costs in Egypt, our first step towards a safer environment and a hopeful future.
