Help Hailey with Medical Expenses and Missed work

Howdy Yall, my name is Frank "Alligator" Robb. Just a couple years ago I had some friends whom started a GoFundMe for me when I was going through some serious health Issues. And it was a tremendous blessing to me in so many ways. The monetary support of course was beyond incredible, but even more so, those that reached out with there support in a difficult time was so special.

I now find myself trying to be a blessing to someone else in that same way. Hailey Preble and her mom, dad and sisters have been dear friends and as close as family, since she was a little girl. Watching these outstanding young ladies bcome incredible hardworking and fantastic women has been heartwarming. Such a wonderful family still to this day.

Back in 2021 Hailey moved from Cocoa, Florida to Los Angeles, California after receiving an internship opportunity from the University of Central Florida as an Office Production Assistant for a Reality Television series. Since then she has continued to live in Los Angeles pursuing other TV industry jobs in search of her dream career, while building her resume.

Mid 2021 she noticed a small bump in her throat, flash forward in 2022 the bump had grown tremendously and was now noticeable to others. She went through many scans, blood tests, and even a biopsy. The results showed that the bumb was a tumor, but was benign. Although there was a concern that the mass would eventually grow into her windpipe causing breathing issues down the line. Hailey had her right thyroid and the connected mass removed (Thyroid Lobectomy).

After having a partial Thyroidectomy it is hoped that the remaining thyroid will take over and produce enough thyroid hormone. Unfortunately in Hailey’s case her thyroid hormone levels were extremely low and she was put on medication to supplement her low levels. Her tumor was sent off to be tested and the results came back as inconclusive. This was concerning to her doctor so then it was sent off to a Pathologist for further testing. A few weeks after Hailey’s surgery she received unfortunate news that her tumor contained Follicular Thyroid Carcinoma, otherwise known as Thyroid Cancer.

As of now she still has her left thyroid and there is concern that it could also contain cancer and that it has potentially spread to other places. Hailey is in need of another Thyroidectomy (of her left thyroid this time) and Radioactive Iodine (RAI) Treatment. During this treatment a follicular thyroid cancer patient swallows a radioactive iodine form of iodine called iodine 131 (I-131) in a liquid or pill (capsule) form. The RAI is absorbed through digestion and circulated throughout the body in bloodstream. Follicular thyroid cancer cells can pick up the radioactive iodine (if they possess the symporter for iodine) wherever they are located in the body. Once taken into the follicular thyroid cancer cells, the radioactive iodine delivers a local radiation treatment in the area where the iodine is concentrated. This fundraiser is to support Hailey’s funds needed for cancer treatment and surgery not covered by her insurance and living expenses, while.under treatment and unable to work.

This has been a difficult time for Hailey as she is away from her family in Florida, on her behalf I ask for your help and support. Thank you.
