Help Hakim and family settle in Canada from Kabul
Hi everyone. My name is Tyson Martin from Ottawa. I am a former Canadian Forces, PSYOPS Team Commander who deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2010. I was very fortunate to have a fantastic interpreter Hakim Azizi, assigned to me for the duration of the tour. Hakim proved to be an exceptionally brave and reliable interpreter, always smiling no matter the circumstances. He partook in over 100 missions outside the wire in the worst condtions imaginable and proved to be a life saving asset on many occasions. Well these past 2 weeks I had the great honour of returning the favor and managed to get him and his wife out of Kabul on one of Canada's last flights out. Any assistance you can provide in helping them get settled would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks ADVANCE
