Help Hala escape the genocide and continue her medical studies.

Hello, I'm Hala Harb, an 18-year-old student from Gaza city. Last year, I achieved a remarkable 92% in high school and enrolled in the College of Dentist at Al-Azhar University in Gaza City. However, the recent onset of war and genocide has turned my once stable life upside down.

My family and I survived the destruction of our home, enduring numerous displacements until finding shelter in a tent in Rafah City. Our current living conditions in a makeshift warehouse are far from ideal, and the ongoing conflict has left us in constant fear of displacement, lacking even the most basic necessities.

Now, I am reaching out for support to continue my medical studies and help my family escape the besieged Gaza Strip. The Egyptian authorities demand a high fee of $7,000 per person to allow us to leave. We urgently need to raise $49,000 to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as crossing fees at Rafah at the Egypt-Gaza border. This amount includes myself, my two sisters, my brother, and my parents (7 people).

Here is a breakdown of the funds we are seeking:

GoFundMe Transaction Fees: 2.9% plus $0.30 per donation (estimated).

University fees: $6,000.

Permits and Crossing Fees: $42,000 to cover the costs of leaving Gaza for all family members.

Cost of Living for a Few Months: $24,000, including renting fees, university registration, and living costs.
