Halima, a 47-year-old mother of 9 children and grandmother of 4, has seen her entire life shattered by the war in Gaza. Once a housewife and skilled seamstress, she worked tirelessly in sewing and embroidery to support her family. But all her ambitions were destroyed when her home and workplace were demolished by the relentless conflict.

Halima currently lives in a tent with her grandchildren, struggling to provide them with even the most basic necessities. They face daily hardships, with little hope for safety, shelter, or a stable future.

The Urgent Need:

Halima’s family is in desperate need of support to escape to safety and reunite with the rest of her children and grandchildren. Living in a tent offers no protection from the harsh environment, and her grandchildren have already suffered serious physical injuries, as well as skin and infectious diseases, due to their exposure to unsafe conditions.

Despite her efforts to play with her grandchildren every day to keep their spirits up, the trauma caused by the constant bombing and occupation weighs heavily on them all.
