Help Hammad family evacuate from Gaza and start a new life

I am Aya Abu Hammad, Palestinian from Gaza.

I have 11 family members.

I am starting a fundraiser to save the lives of my family, You are our only hope to get out of Gaza to Egypt. Please help me save my family's lives.

I'm sure you've heard about the current situation where there is no electricity, connection, fuel, water or food.

I am worried that I will lose my family any moment. Due to the horrible war that's been taking place in Gaza Strip for 10 months, which has targeted civilians, we're STRUGGLING right now, and genocides are happening in Gaza every SINGLE day. Currently, there is no safe place for my family to live or to go.

We're 11 in a small tent , no more than 4*3 meters in Mawasi,KhanYunis. Living in a disastrous situation, with no sanitation or clean water for washing, cooking, or drinking.

Even dirty water is EXTREMELY expensive to buy. On top of that, we receive no humanitarian aid whatsoever.

As you can imagine, there has been no source of income for us since the start of the war as my father can not work.

I'm very concerned about my sister's baby and my youngest brother not getting food or sleep because they don't have the basic necessities of life.

Can you imagine how hard it is to drink dirty water and keep getting sick? We're facing this every single day .

I have a well educated, successful family,

My family names:

1- My father Ibrahim Abu Hammad, he is 61 years old ,he has studied Arabic language speciality but he's working as a taxi driver .

2- My lovely mother Remeen Hassan, she's 49 years old.

3- My older brother Wissam Abu Hammad ,he is 30 years old,he has studied to become a Hospital Administration Specialist but he couldn't find any job opportunities .

4- My older brother Yousuf Abu Hammad , he is 27 years old and he's a physio therapist .

5- My younger brother Mohammed Abu Hammad , he's 20 years old and he's still studying pharmacy at university

6- My youngest brother Abed-Alrahman Abu Hammad he is 9 years old,he is still at elementary school .

7- My youngest sister Aseel Abu Hammad, she's 16 years old and still studying at high school .

8- Me, Aya Abu Hammad , I'm 23 years old

9-My older sister Israa Abu Hammad,she's 25 years old and have a bachelor's degree in elementary education ,yet searching for a job .

10-My brother in law (Israa's husband) Karam Shaqoora,he's 26 years old and in the same speciality as his wife elementary education,yet searching for a job .

11-My nephew (Israa's child) Rawad Shaqoora,he is only 10 months.

Job opportunities here in Gaza are very little even for those who got master and higher degrees...so we don't have any income to travel alone not even to buy necessities ,we were borrowing money from wherever possible to help us buy things during the inflation rate of the price of all goods.

Our situation has unfortunately changed from bad to worse, and we are now without a home. Our home was destroyed .

I'm here to ask for your urgent help. Please help me collect the application fees and travel costs for 11 people. Please help us to start a new life in Egypt.

In order to facilitate my family's evacuation from Palestine and to Egypt , I'm setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise £102,420 .

Here is the breakdown of the funds:

1- A total of £56,100

Has to be allocated to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as crossing fees at Rafah, at the Egypt-Gaza border. (This amount breaks down to £5,100 per person) .

2- The cost for visa applications and all the costs related to reunion is a £1,320 . (£120 per person).

3- The cost for buying an apartment in Egypt is £40,000.

4- A total of £5000 will be used to cover GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation).

you are our only hope so we can get out of Gaza and evacuate to Egypt .Even if the war ends there certainly won't be any kind or sort of life here in Gaza. Gaza would never be eligible again for a human to live and stay in. Not in a hundred years.

I feel that I'm going crazy if the situation stays the same, I don't think we can bear with such kind of life where we're only breathing,considered half dead.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference to the safety of my family. We'll use the money raised in a transparent and efficient way to make sure every dollar goes to keeping them safe.

أنا آية أبو حماد فلسطينية من غزة. تتكون عائلتي من11 فرد. بدأت جمع التبرعات لإنقاذ حياة عائلتي ، أنتم أملنا الوحيد في الخروج من غزة إلى مصر. لذلك أرجو مساعدتي في إنقاذ حياة عائلتي. أنا متأكدة من أنكم سمعتم بالفعل عن الوضع الحالي حيث لا توجد كهرباء أو شبكات اتصال وانترنت جيدة أو وقود أو ماء أو طعام. أنا قلقة من أنني قد أفقد عائلتي في أي لحظة بسبب الحرب المدمرة التي تدور في قطاع غزة منذ 10 أشهر، والتي استهدفت المدنيين. نحن نكافح الآن، وعمليات الإبادة الجماعية تحدث في غزة كل يوم حتى في المناطق الآمنة لا نكف عن سماع اصوات الصواريخ والقصف. لذلك حاليا ، لا يوجد اي مكان آمن لعائلتي للعيش أو الذهاب إليه. يعيش جميعنا ال 11 شخص في خيمة صغيرة ، لا تزيد عن 4 * 3 أمتار في مواصي خانيونيس. نعيش في وضع كارثية ، بدون صرف صحي أو مياه نظيفة للغسيل أو الطهي أو الشرب. حتى المياه القذرة والملوثة مكلفة للغاية لشرائها . علاوة على ذلك ، لا نتلقى أي مساعدات إنسانية على الإطلاق. زكما يمكنكم التخيل ، لم يكن هناك اي مصدر دخل لنا منذ بداية الحرب لأن والدي لا يستطيع العمل. أنا قلقة للغاية بشأن عدم حصول طفل أختي وأخي الأصغر على الطعام أو حتى النوم لأنهم لا يمتلكون الضروريات الأساسية للحياة. هل يمكنكم أن تتخيلوا مدى صعوبة شرب الماء الملوث والاستمرار في المرض بسبب ذلك؟ نحن نواجه هذا كل يوم. لدي عائلة متعلمة وناجحة ، أسماء عائلتي: 1- والدي إبراهيم أبو حماد ، يبلغ من العمر 61 عامًا ، درس تخصص اللغة العربية لكنه يعمل سائق سيارة أجرة. 2- أمي الحبيبة ريمين حسن عمرها 49 سنة. 3- أخي الأكبر وسام أبو حماد ، 30 سنة ، درس إدارة صحية لكنه لم يجد أي فرص عمل. 4- أخي الأكبر يوسف أبو حماد يبلغ من العمر 27 سنة درس علاج طبيعي ويعمل كمعالج فيزيائي في مشفى ناصر. 5- أخي الأصغر محمد أبو حماد، يبلغ من العمر 20 عاماً، ولا يزال يدرس تخصص الصيدلة في الجامعة 6- أخي الأصغر عبد الرحمن أبو حماد يبلغ من العمر 9 سنوات، ولا يزال في المدرسة الابتدائية. 7- أختي الصغرى أسيل أبو حماد تبلغ من العمر 16 سنة ولا تزال تدرس في المدرسة الثانوية. 8- انا آية أبو حماد عمري 23 سنة 9- اختي الاكبر إسراء أبو حماد تبلغ من العمر 25 سنة و حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في التعليم الأساسي , ولكنها ما زالت تبحث عن وظيفة . 10-زوج أختي (إسراء) كرم شقورة ، يبلغ من العمر 26 عامًا درس نفس تخصص زوجته التعليم الأساسي ، ومع ذلك يبحث عن وظيفة. 11- ابن أختي (إسراء) رواد شقورة ، عمره 10 أشهر فقط. فرص العمل هنا في غزة قليلة جدا وشبه معدومة حتى بالنسبة لأولئك الذين حصلوا على درجة الماجستير والدرجات العليا ... لذلك ليس لدينا أي دخل يمكّننا من السفر بمفردنا ولا حتى لشراء الضروريات ، اعتدنا خلال الحرب ان نقترض المال من حيثما أمكن لمساعدتنا على شراء الضروريات بسبب معدل التضخم الخيالي لاسعار جميع السلع. لقد تغير وضعنا للأسف من سيء إلى أسوأ ، ونحن الآن بلا منزل. تدمر منزلنا كما يمكنكم مشاهدته في الصور. لذلك أنا هنا لأطلب مساعدتكم العاجلة. الرجاء مساعدتي في تحصيل رسوم الطلب وتكاليف السفر لـ 11 شخصًا. الرجاء مساعدتنا في بدء حياة جديدة في مصر. من أجل تسهيل إجلاء عائلتي من فلسطين وإلى مصر ، قمت بإعداد حملة GoFundMe لجمع 102،420£ . وهنا تفصيل اكثر لكيفية استخدام هذه الأموال: 1- يجب تخصيص ما مجموعه 56.100£ لتغطية النفقات المرتبطة بالحصول على تنسيق لمغادرة غزة ، وكذلك رسوم العبور في رفح ، على المعبر بين مصر وغزة.
