Help Hamza Rebuild His Future Through Education

Hi, my name is Avery and I am organizing this fundraiser for Hamza - his words follow:

Hello everyone,

I am Hamza Muhammad, a 20-year-old Palestinian young man striving to achieve my dreams despite the challenges. I lived in Gaza, which has witnessed four wars, the latest of which was the most brutal and devastating. I lost my home, which was a sanctuary for my family, after it was destroyed by missiles despite all the efforts my father had made to build it. I also lost my university and my city, which turned into rubble, preventing me from completing my studies and achieving my academic aspirations. We lived in tents for nearly a year, suffering from bitter cold, hunger, and fear, before we were able to return to what remained of my grandparents' home, which was also damaged but was better than the suffering in tents under harsh conditions.

A year before the war, I was planning to travel abroad to study, but I hesitated due to my family's fears about the difficulties of life away from home, in addition to the high costs. Therefore, I decided to enroll at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza. However, just one week after starting my studies, the war broke out, and I lost a year and a half of my life due to the ongoing conflict, which prevented me from making any progress in my academic or personal life.

Today, after witnessing the widespread destruction that befell Gaza and the lack of hope in continuing my studies here, I have decided to muster the determination and will to travel and study abroad. I want to return to my homeland and contribute to its reconstruction and development, and to be an active element in building a better future for my family and my city.

Therefore, I turn to you with all sincerity, seeking support for my campaign to raise funds to cover the costs of travel, study, and living abroad, as well as to help my family meet their basic needs due to the difficult financial circumstances.

I believe that education is the key to changing the future, and I am ready to put in all the effort to achieve this dream. Your support will be the first step toward rebuilding my future, my family's future, and my city's future.
