Help Hank Walk Again: Support His Recovery
Donation protected
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency regarding my beloved French Bulldog, Hank. Hank is a 7-year-old red sable French Bulldog, and he’s truly been through so much in the past couple of years. Two years ago, he underwent a life-changing surgery for a herniated cervical spine, which cost $14,000. Sadly, Hank is facing another challenge: he recently herniated his lower spine at the T12-T13 level. We sought treatment in Mexico, where we had to undergo another surgery, which cost $6,000 (not including follow-up appointments, physical therapy, and additional equipment).
While the surgery was necessary, it came with an unfortunate outcome—Hank is currently unable to walk. Thankfully, he has regained control of his bladder and bowels, but he will require extensive ongoing care. At this point, Hank’s recovery depends on physical therapy, a custom K9 cart, and a specialized harness to help him move around. Additionally, we’ll need to modify our home with ramps and rugs to help him relearn to walk safely.
We are doing everything we can for Hank, but the financial burden has become overwhelming, and I am humbly asking for any assistance or donations to help us give Hank the care he needs. Every little bit helps, and we are incredibly grateful for any support during this challenging time. Our hope is to see him recover and regain his mobility, but we need financial help to make that happen.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Hank’s story. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us.
