Help Buy Battery Operated AC for Van-Tour Vehicle!

Hi, my name is Hanna Barakat. I am a full-time touring musician based out of Texas. Over the past year (honestly more), rent in Austin, TX has become untenable. In February, I realized I would be forced to find an alternative living situation. I decided to purchase, strip, and convert a van into something I could live in. I found a 2017 Ford Transit Van and started working on it immediately. In late March, my service dog, Sultana, and I moved into the van full-time, along with my drummer and best friend, Lisa! I was able to do a lot to get my van/home ready for living on the road, installing solar panels to help run my refrigerator and charge laptops so we can continue to work and book gigs. Unfortunately, NOTHING could have prepared us for the extreme weather we have been having in Texas, the Americas, and across the globe.

I am fundraising to be able to buy a portable AC/Heat system that can run on batteries for 8 hours. This will allow me to continue to be able to live/sleep/function in my van/home/tour vehicle. The extreme triple-digit temperatures in Austin have been making it impossible to do so, to the point that we have been staying at my relative's homes on their floors since June. It is not a practical or long-term solution. It is no longer a solution, and we return from our East Coast tour on August 2nd. The thought of returning to those triple digits has been giving me anxiety attacks.

I am desperately trying to find solutions, and trust me, this was my last last last option, asking for help like this. The system I have found is called an EcoFlow WAVE 2 Portable AC/Heater with added Battery and solar panel to charge it back up. It will cost $2,595.84 to purchase. It's a serious expense, but it is also evidently necessary. Any help towards this life-changing tool to combat the extreme heat is so so very much appreciated.
