Help Hannah Bring Simon Home Safely

Hello,

my name is Hannah. I am engaged to my fiancé, Simon Derby. He is a 24-year-old medically retired Marine, a loving father of 4, and a loved one to many. Yesterday morning, 3-19-2025, Simon left around 5 AM and was taken to the airport without my knowledge, where he started a journey to Ukraine. Simon has had a very rough transition out of the military, especially in the last 4-5 weeks. He has often mentioned feeling he has no purpose outside of the military and feeling that he never fulfilled his duty by deploying and fighting for his country. I have done everything in my power to get Simon into therapy and willing to seek treatment and help. Unfortunately, he wasn’t willing. He has been abusing alcohol behind my back among other concerning actions. He is unwell, he is not in a clear mental state, and he needs help. He is currently on his way to Ukraine and we are doing everything in our power to intercept him along his way. Unfortunately, we are hitting many walls. I plan to fly to Prague along with someone else and then take a bus to the US Embassy in Kyiv in hopes of receiving help locating Simon and bringing him home safely for help. I have an emergency passport appointment on Friday that is going to cost me $246.36 in total to obtain. This is the quickest way for me to obtain a passport. Once I have the passport in hand, I will leave shortly after. Simon was the provider for our home. I was a stay-at-home mom. We do not have the funds needed to pay rent, utilities, or for food without him, let alone travel to Ukraine. I am pleading for help so I can get to him and help him. Please help me help him.
