Help Hannah defeat Massive Medical Costs

If you’ve known Hannah for any length of time, then you know that she has ongoing issues with her health. Some of these issues have been surprising and others have been ridiculously unbelievable, but they’ve certainly been consistent.
In keeping with this pattern of the consistently unexpected, Hannah began her most recent run of medical problems in November beginning with a 3rd case of active EBV (the virus that causes Mono), two ER visits, and a fantastic case of Haemophilus influenzae or HIB.
After getting through these illnesses, Hannah continued to feel fatigued while experiencing severe abdominal pain. She took another trip to the ER, received medications, had a CT scan, and was discharged to come home. After an additional week of worsening pain, she was back at the ER where doctors told her she needed emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder.
The surgeon was shocked by the condition of Hannah’s gallbladder, stating that it looked “like it came from a 64 year old obese man” and not from a 21 year old young woman. Hannah is recovering and waiting to see a gastroenterologist and an internist to help find out what may be happening in her body that would have caused such a severe case of inflammation of her gallbladder.
Needless to say, 4 trips to the ER, multiple doctor visits, numerous tests, an emergency surgery, and an overnight stay in the hospital hasn’t been inexpensive, even with the help of medical insurance. Hannah hasn’t been able to work since November and not only needs help paying her medical expenses, but also needs help with living expenses.
