Help Hannah Recover From Recent Floods

Donation protected
Donate to help out Lismore resident recovering from the recent floods After the floods on 28th February 2022 Hannah’s home in Lismore was inundated with water.

While the community clean up efforts were underway these efforts have now been hampered once again by further flooding on 30th March.

The culmination of these two floods have meant Hannah lost most of her possessions and has significant damage to the house.

Funds raised will go towards helping Hannah to pay these large costs and buy much needed household items.

Hannah bought her first home in Lismore in 2018 and has lived and worked in Lismore since as a full time social worker assisting people with mental health needs.

As Hannah worked full time before the flood she is not eligible to receive the Resilient NSW Flood Assistance. She returned to work for one day in March and then the second flood hit.

While the Morrison Government don’t want to help residents like Hannah to recover from floods they are happy to hand over billions to fossil fuel companies.

The recent budget saw literally billions of dollars directed towards big gas projects that continue to add to the climate emergency.

The donations would mean so much and help Hannah to get through this tough time. Thank you so much in advance for your support.
