Help Hannah Grubb Beat Lymphoma

My name is Katianne Grubb, and I am calling for help to raise funds for my sister-in-law, Hannah, as she battles Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

To say that Hannah and her family have had a rough couple of years would be an understatement. Hannah lost her father to lung cancer in February of 2018 while she was a junior in college. Despite having to navigate this devastating loss, she managed to graduate in the spring of 2019 with a degree in Digital Media. After several months of searching for her first job to kick off her career, she finally landed her dream job as a graphic designer.

Hannah began to feel physically ill towards the end of November 2019 and was admitted to the hospital on December 1st, the week she was supposed to start her new job. Her diagnosis was Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was told her treatment would be six months of chemo with bi-weekly infusions. Needless to say, she informed her company that she would be unable to start work at her new job.

In March 2020, four months into her treatment, Hannah contracted Covid-19. She spent an additional week in the hospital. Her chemo treatment was set back by three weeks-- a frustrating hurdle in addition to an already dire situation.

Hannah finally finished treatment on June 2nd with the hope of remission. However, after a scan showing further active cancer cells in her chest, two inconclusive biopsies, and an invasive surgery, she was told that her treatment had not rid her of lymphoma. These procedures set her back two months for further treatment. She is now undergoing further high-dose chemo, potentially followed by stem cell rescue if the chemo is effective. Her treatment will not be complete until this coming December, marking an entire year of cancer treatment.

Hannah has been out of work since her diagnosis ten months ago and needs funds immediately to help pay her (already deferred) college loans, to help support her family who have been keeping her afloat, and to meet her basic needs such as medication, transportation, and other living expenses. Hannah is incredibly strong and continues to fight a vicious battle. These funds would go a long way in alleviating her stress and providing her with a more enjoyable and higher quality of life.
