Help Harlie Hurst (Chaffin) in Her Cancer Battle

Harlie was diagnosed in May of this year with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (PTC) a type of thyroid cancer. Initially she was

suppose to have 1 surgery to remove her thyroid, recover, and then begin radiation. Due to complications she has now had 3 surgeries and what was suppose to be a 1-2 night stay turned into a 13 night stay over the course of 3 weeks.

With this last surgery she got MRSA and is on heavy doses of antibiotics and that just means more doctor appointments.

Even though she is home now and appears to be doing better, praise God, she is still fighting this infection and dealing with side effects of the multiple surgeries.

Next steps are several more doctor appointments, recover, then radiation.

Harlie and her husband Ryan have been married for 6 years and live in Middle, TN where Ryan works at the church that they serve at. Harlie is a sweet, hard working, loving young woman and any and all help you can provide is a blessing to her and Ryan.
