UPDATED:
Harmony, Health, and Healing is so much more than just a massage therapy company. They are a part of the Maplewood community and St. Louis massage community. They recently moved into their new location at 7342 Manchester Road in December 2017. Eydie and the team have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this small business over the past 8 months. A successful ribbon cutting in June 2018 with the Mid-County Chamber of Commerce was the latest landmark of this calming, soothing, and inviting safe space for people to heal both physically and mentally. The mission statement for Harmony, Health, and Healing says it all: “There are many ways to explain the embodiment and nature of healing: helping people, providing bodywork, cultivating energy, and vitality.”
On August 20th a fire completely devastated the massage studio. This has left Eydie, Norma, Brent and Aleta with no space or any supplies to work with for the foreseeable future, and they have been told they may not be able to reopen for several months. (Click the link below to see the full story)
Unfortunately, the business owner found out that her insurance coverage does NOT cover any damages to property. The team is at a complete loss and will need all the help they can get to move forward. They will not let a fire bring them down and they intend to temporarily operate out of a different space while their space is rebuilt. Many have asked what they can do to help, and as we know the business will need to recover certain things like massage tables, linens, oils, and other essentials. Unfortunately, these items don’t come cheap. Just a massage table alone can cost $400 or more.
Harmony, Health and Healing is determined to keep their business going and continue their work in helping to heal others. Please consider a contribution towards helping this small local business successfully emerge from this tragedy.
