HELP HARPER'S PET SUPPLY SAVE THIER ANIMALS!

It is with tremendous sadness that we that we have to announce the closing of Harper's Exotic Animals & Pet Supply by the end of January 2024.

It has been the biggest privilege of our lives to serve this community over the last 6 years but due to not being able to negotiate a lease agreement with a different landlord, we were given no choice but to leave our current location by eviction. Believe us when we say we have exhausted all options, in the very short time we have been given, to try to stay open. There just isn't anything available that is appropriate for us at this time and funds available to move.

It is extremely hard to put into words the devastation we are feeling right now. The concern for our rescued animals and the kids in our volunteer program who depend on us, the people and places bring us abused or unwanted animals, they people and groups we sponsor and help out in bad times, our customers and friends is overwhelming Who will be there for them now for them?

The only thing we can do to move forward is be thankful for the 6 years we were able to help our community.

Thankfull to be able to have the opportunity to give full lives to so many neglected/abandoned animals (over 2000 in our time) that otherwise would have never experienced nurturing of any kind, if they were lucky enough to have even survived.

Thankful for the opportunity to mentor some pretty great kids. We will miss you all so much.

Thankfull for the opportunity to be able to donate food to our local shelters and people just having a rough time in general.

Thankfull for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that came through our doors that love their pets so much and just want the best for them.

You see we aren't just a pet supply store that sells dog food. We are a young couple that truly cares about our community and the people/pets in it. We are so devastated that we have to say goodbye, especially like this.

If we can leave this experience knowing we've inspired people to dream big and if they work hard enough, the sky is the limit then we are ok.

Thank you to each and every customer who has supported us. So many of you have touched our lives in ways you'll never know. The point of this is to raise funds to built a room in our home to properly house and feed them untill we can find appropriate homes for some and to keep the ones that cant be rehomed or are our personal pets.

Will be a minimum of 5000 to just build the room. We are not ones to ask for help but we need help to help these aniamls!
