Please help Harrison get some powered wheels&independence

Harrison (16) has severe cerebral palsy. This means Harrison is unable to stand/sit unsupported but that doesn’t stop him having a great sense of humour and cheekiness and the determination to try and be like others his age. Harrison is non verbal and communicates with an eye gaze tablet. Harrison recently had a life-changing experience when he trialled a revolutionary eye gaze device app that allowed him to control an electric wheelchair. This innovative technology has given him the opportunity to gain independence and mobility like never before.
During the trial, Harrison was able to navigate through an obstacle course with ease, showcasing the potential this new device has in transforming his daily life. Please see the video below
Everyone was emotional, seeing Harrisons joy and knowing how life changing it would be.
However, to fully realise the benefits of this technology, we need your help to raise funds for Harrison to have an electric wheelchair, the drive system, and the app.
Our goal is to raise £19000(£7K for a wheelchair base unit,£7.4K for the drive system and £4.6K for supportive seating) to make this life-changing opportunity a reality for Harrison and his family.
Your support will mean the world to them and make a lasting impact on Harrison's quality of life.
What this would mean for Harrison:
- Opportunity to join in activities with family, friends and peers on his own terms and to independently load himself into transport
- Some independence in his daily life - able to move where and when he wants without calling for help
- give him a sense of achievement and improve his wellbeing
- reduce how much his parents are at his beck and call
Please help us to raise the £19000 we need to make it happen. Thank you so much. It will mean the world to Harrison and his family. Pete(Harrisons dad) will be managing the purchasing of the equipment on Harrisons behalf.
