Hi everyone,
Harrison Rich is a 15 year old sophomore at Hamilton Southeastern High School. He is the son of Nate and Kristen and has two brothers and a sister. When Harrison is not at school you could find him playing video games, hanging out with friends, or on the mats. Harrison started Jiu Jitsu 6 years ago and instantly fell in love. He is a yellow belt in Jiu Jitsu and loves to be on the mat with The Tribe (Fishers BJJ & Boxing). He is a green belt in Taekwondo (Fishers Martial Arts). 4 years ago, Harrison decided he wanted to wrestle. He fell in love with the sport, which became his drive and passion. He wrestles for his high school and his club (Legends of Gold).

As some of you know, Harrison was injured at a wrestling tournament. Harrison was wrestling at the Perry Meridian JV Dual tournament on December 4, 2021. He suffered a severe C5/C6 spinal cord injury. He has had a few surgeries since his injury and is currently awaiting to be transferred from Riley Children's Hospital to Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago. Harrison is eager to start his rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan and has remained positive throughout his stay at the hospital. Nothing has stopped him from remaining positive, cracking jokes, and pulling pranks (I expect nothing less from him, lol)
Many have asked how they are able to donate or how they are able to help out the family during this time. The Rich's have been traveling back and forth from the hospital daily and will continue to do so when Harrison is transferred to Chicago. Between gas from traveling, food, medical, and other expenses.. they already have their hands full and everyone who knows them, wants them to not have to worry about these expenses.
Thank you all for the endless amount of love and support that you all have shown the Rich family! Please continue to keep them all in your prayers.
