Help Harrison to be able to hear and speak
GO FUND HARRISON
Hello my names Harrison.
I'm 4 years old and unable to hear or communicate as well as I should.
This is due to being left with glue ear and being grade 4 tongue tied.
I've had Glue ear since the age of 1 after I was left for over a week with an ear infection.
I've attended lots of hosptial appointments to be told they'll see me again in 3 months time. * this has happened every appointment*.
Since the age of 2 my mum noticed I wasn't talking and if I was it wouldn't be very understanding.
I would point at things and just get so frustrated because I couldn't tell her what I'd like.
This has made me independent in some ways but I'm still unable to hear or talk due to my glue ear and grade 4 tongue tie.
I was promised funding on the NHS for and assured by my speech therapist at speech and language they would get me the help I needed.
It's now been 3 years, My mum and dad wanted answers and they took me to a private consultation which they were told again yes I have Glue ear and I have Grade 4 tongue tie. This affects me eating aswell as talking.
I start school in september and I would really love to be able to make new friends and communicate with others my own age.
The NHS have told my mum and dad that I won't be funded for this and that if I need it doing I will need it privately doing.
I so want to be able to talk, I try my best but sometimes it's too hard for me.
My operation would be for Grommet insertion and tongue tie division
My mum and dad would be very grateful for any donations given.
Harrison needs £3400 to be raised for his operation.
Any help given would be very much appreciated x
