Support: Haya's Medical Education and Her Family

Dear World,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea for help. I'm Haya, a student from Gaza who lost everything my dream filled university and our family home, both gone in a blink due to bombings. Luckily, my parents, little sister, and I miraculously survived under the rubble. Yet, sadness lingers as I say goodbye to my brothers and sisters after years of a once-beautiful life together.

After the sad event, we had to leave our home of more than 15 years with nothing left. We got some injuries and burns, but it's not just the physical pain the hurt inside goes deep. It's like losing a big part of who we are. Starting over feels tough, like facing a big, empty space. Our old home, full of memories, is now just an empty place. Moving on is hard, and it feels like we're carrying yesterday's sadness into an uncertain tomorrow. We hope to find the strength to build something new, even though it seems like a big challenge.

In the wake of this adversity, I seek your support to alleviate these pains. I genuinely aspire to mend not just my physical wounds but also my educational journey. My wish is to join the rest of my family in a safer place, allowing me to resume my education and nurture aspirations for a brighter future. In doing so, I aim to honor the dreams of my departed sisters by building a new, secure home. Together, with your help, we can make a significant difference in crafting a hopeful tomorrow from the fragments of today's challenges. Your support will be the cornerstone of a renewed journey towards healing and a promising future.

أنا هيا، طالبة طب من غزة، وأشعر بالألم العميق جراء الخسائر الكبيرة التي لحقت بنا في هذه الحرب المدمرة. لقد فقدنا كل شيء، من منزلنا الذي كنا نعيش فيه منذ 15 عامًا، إلى فرصة التعليم في الجامعة التي كنت أحلم بتحقيق طموحاتي فيها. رغم أننا نجونا بأعجوبة من قصف منزلنا، إلا أننا فقدنا أحبائنا، أخي وأخواتي الذين عاشوا معنا سنوات جميلة

بعد هذا الحادث المؤلم، تعرضنا لإصابات جسدية، ولكن لا يوجد شيء يمكن أن يعوض عن الألم الذي نشعر به في قلوبنا بسبب فقدان جزء منا. لقد قمت بإطلاق هذه الحملة بهدف الخروج من هذه الكوابيس في غزة، والبدء في عملية الشفاء واستئناف تعليمي، وتحقيق حلمي في أن أصبح طبيبة ناجحة. أرجو منكم دعمنا، حتى وإن كانت مساهمتكم صغيرة، فهي قادرة على تغيير مسار حياتنا وإنقاذنا من هذه المأساة
