Help Toleen's Family to rebuild their live

Hello, my name is Fayma, and I am fundraising for Hayam and her family, who are facing unimaginable hardship. Hayam’s home in Gaza was completely destroyed during the recent war. What was once a place filled with love, safety, and hope has now been reduced to rubble. Along with their home, they lost their sense of security, their source of livelihood, and the simple joys of daily life.
Hayam’s story is one of resilience, heartbreak, and survival.

On the morning of October 25, the sky over Gaza was filled with smoke, fire, and the deafening sounds of airstrikes. The city trembled under relentless bombing, and the cries of terrified families echoed through the ruins. Amid this nightmare, Hayam held her four children close, her heart pounding as she looked at her husband. They both knew - they could no longer stay in their home. The war had reached their doorstep, and if they didn’t leave now, they might not survive.
With nothing but the clothes on their backs, they fled their house, tears streaming down Hayam’s face as she looked one last time at the place where they had built their dreams. The streets were filled with families like theirs, carrying whatever they could, running from the relentless destruction. Together, they made their way to a school - turned-shelter, joining thousands of displaced people seeking refuge.

For two long months, Hayam and her children endured unimaginable conditions in the overcrowded school. Food was scarce, clean water was a luxury, and disease spread quickly. Each night, she lay awake, terrified that the next airstrike would be their last. But despite the fear, she had one source of strength - her husband, who reassured her that they would find a way to survive, together.
But on December 25, their world shattered once more.
The conditions in the school had become unbearable, and they could no longer stay. The family decided to move south toward Rafah, hoping to find a safer place. Before leaving, Hayam’s husband stepped out to search for necessities - some bread, clean water, anything to help them survive the journey.
He never returned.
Hayam waited, her heart pounding with every passing minute. She searched for him among the crowds, asked every person she saw, but no one had answers. As the sun began to set, she realized the unthinkable - she had to leave without him. With tears in her eyes and fear gripping her soul, she gathered her children and set off toward Rafah, carrying nothing but their shattered hopes and unanswered prayers.
The journey to Rafah was a nightmare. No transportation, no food, no protection - just endless miles of devastation. She walked with her children, each step heavy with exhaustion and despair. The fear of airstrikes followed them like a shadow, but turning back was not an option.

For four months, they lived in Rafah, struggling to survive in a city bursting with displaced families. The conditions were unlivable - tents packed together, no clean water, barely any food to feed her starving children. Every night, she whispered stories to them, trying to shield them from the nightmare unfolding around them. But in her heart, she knew - they were merely surviving, not living.
Then, the final blow came.
When Israeli forces invaded Rafah, panic consumed the city. Once again, Hayam had to run, had to leave behind whatever small semblance of stability she had found. With no time to think, no place to go, she gathered her children and fled to Mawasi Khan Younis.
For a brief moment, there was hope. The war was declared "over", and people dared to dream of rebuilding their shattered lives. But peace in Gaza is an illusion, a fragile promise that never lasts.

The airstrikes returned, more brutal than before. The nightmare resumed.
Today, Hayam and her children are trapped in a never-ending cycle of fear, hunger, and displacement. They still have no idea what happened to their husband and father. They have no home, no stability, no future in Gaza. The only thing they have left is hope - hope that someone, somewhere, will hear their story and extend a hand to help them rebuild their lives.
Hayam’s family are kind, resilient people who have always cared for one another and those around them. Despite the devastation they’ve experienced, they refuse to give up. They have a dream - to rebuild their home, restore their life, and bring back a sense of stability and hope for their family.
This fundraiser is about more than rebuilding walls. It’s about helping Hayam and her children rebuild their future, their dignity, and their sense of belonging. Every donation, no matter the size, is a step towards giving them back a safe space where they can heal and start over.
Your support will go directly towards helping them reconstruct their home and replace the essentials they lost - everything from shelter and warmth to the basic tools they need to earn a living again.
Please consider donating and sharing Hayam’s story. Together, we can help them rise from the ashes and show them they are not alone. Every contribution restores hope and makes a real difference.
