Help Hazel Hill Farm & Home

Dear Friends,
It’s been a long year for us all and so I feel some discomfort asking you, my community who I love and appreciate and never want to burden, for help. However, some of you have urged me to remember the gift it is to another to accept their help, and that there are people who will want to help our family and Hazel Hill Farm.
Hazel Hill Farm was a dream that Papa adopted because of his love for me and which he brought to life for us. It is our family home and my business dream. Every day this place and the animals that we have here, inspired by Papa (we decided to pursue alpacas together), brings me immeasurable joy and sense of self and purpose. Since Papa’s unexpected passing on March 5, 2020, closely followed by the COVID crisis, our family has been in a bit of confusion and limbo, trying to process our situation and understand the legal and financial aspects of keeping our home here.
We have started down that path, determined to keep Hazel Hill Farm, but the time that has passed is now against us. We were locked out of the mortgage account for our home after Papa passed because it is in his name and now have only limited access until we can get the home deeded to us, which cannot take place for some time, further into the probate process. Our only option via the lender is to pay all that is past due since Papa’s passing and bring the account current, at which point we will be able to make regular monthly payments in his name until we can make the legal changes and then modify the loan in our name. We are out of time and we must make that payment by the end of the year.
So I guess what I’m saying is, what I want for Christmas is Hazel Hill Farm. Whether you are able to help us monetarily or send us just good vibes and prayers, whether you live near or far, whether we speak regularly or just every once in a blue moon, I want you to know that I really appreciate you taking the time to come to this page and read this, and if you ever need anything that I might be able to give, I hope that you will ask.
Thank you, I love you.
