Help HBR 1747 Go to Worlds 2024 in Houston

Donation protected
The Harrison Boiler Robotics FIRST Team 1747 students, mentors, and parents have worked incredibly hard this season and were thrilled to be a member of the winning alliance for State Championship, at Lafayette Jefferson High School, Sunday, April 7, 2024! In doing so, we received an invitation to attend the Worlds Championship in Houston on April 17, 2024.

Many thanks to our sponsors, McAllister Foundation, Caterpillar, Radian Research, Witko, IBEW 668, Ameko Group, Cynthia Ringer and Ron & Elmira Deckard for making this season possible.

This team has overcome so many hurdles - including rebuilding their robot in 3 days between competitions! The many fundraisers and sponsors have carried us far, but we need your help!

Our team consists of approximately 40 students and 12 mentors/college mentors. We plan to send approximately 20 students and 10 mentors, and need to pay for food, hotel, transportation and registration fees.

FIRST Worlds Championship is a culminating, international event for our youth robotics competition season and an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) for our community as we prepare young people for the future.
