Heal A Teacher - Frieda Wald Medical Fund

Frieda Wald is the mother of two boys, grandmother to five boys, and a retired South Carolina school teacher who spent 35 years teaching special needs children. 

She was recently diagnosed with a Carcinoma brain tumor at the base of her skull AND triple negative breast cancer. Both of these are aggressive cancers which require radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  She is being treated at both the Lexington medical center and the Atlanta Proton Therapy Center.  Her brain tumortreatments will require daily doses for 7 weeks. During this time she will need to relocate away from her family and friends.  We are trying our best to ensure she can afford both her treatments and her living expenses during this time. We are alsobanding together as a family to provide as much love and support as possible. 

My mother is a wonderful woman who has dedicated her life to helping those in need.  I’m sure she touched many of you directly or indirectly through her community involvement.  I ask that you please help us take care of her now in her time of need.
